Erik Pintar was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Pittsburgh by the Most Reverend Mark A. Eckman on Saturday, June 27, 2026.  Also joining in the Mass of Ordination were the Most Rev. Bismarck Chau, Auxiliary Bishop of Newark, NJ, who has a Deaf ministry in the Newark diocese, and Deaf priests Rev. Shawn Carey, Rev. Mike Depcik, OSFS, and Rev. Christopher Klusman.  May God richly bless Father Erik in his ministry and grant him many years in His service.  More photos will be included in the next edition of Vision magazine.  

 On Friday, June 26, 2026, the Cleveland Catholic Deaf Center celebrated 80 years of ministry in the Diocese of Cleveland with a Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland with Father Tony Schueger (left) and Father Michael Depcik, OSFS.  After Mass, the community enjoyed a guided tour of the Cathedral and a dinner celebration.  More photos will be included in the next edition of Vision magazine.
