CATECHESIS SUBSCRIPTION
This subscription provides access to two kinds of training information:
* Online catechetical materials for First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation -- provided in American Sign Language, voice and captions. These materials can be used by parents, guardians, Directors of Religious Education, catechists, and others who may not have a full-time Deaf ministry but desire to provide catechetical training to Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals.
* Access to NCOD--produced videos showing the 2011 Roman Missal changes in American Sign Language, along with information about why certain signs were chosen for different parts of the liturgy. Sign language interpreters may wish to use the videos to aid in their interpretation of Holy Mass. The commentary on the different parts of the Mass may also be useful for catechists.
